Sigung Stephen McDonald
Sigung McDonald Stephen is the youngest of Three sons of Dr. Jessie, and Ola McDonald. He was born February of 1970 in Nashville, TN, who is married to Simo Po Chu Ng Mcdonald of Hong Kong, and has one son, and one daughter.They reside in Nashville, Tennessee and also have citizenship in Kowloon City Hong Kong. He's. Also the Author of several martial arts, child safety, and law enforcement books.
He was educated in the Nashville public schools where he developed an interest in martial arts, at the young age of 6 in the arts of: (Vikoga Yip) Wing Chun Gung Fu, and Hei Lin Wushu, under the instructions of Sijo Wong, William M.D. and Sigung Hardin Lynn . He also studied TKD, Jujitsu, and Kim style under Master Michael McDonald Sr., an older brother.
McDonald is a 16-year veteran State and a Federal Law Enforcement agent, who has worked in multiple fields such as the Aniti Terrorist Unit, U.S Treasury department Unit, and the United States Fugitive Task Force, / Marshals office. After his career slowed down in law enforcement after 911, he had the honors of doing bodyguard and security consultant work for private citizens such as Richard Simmons, Garth Brooks, and Hip Hop stars such as Young Buck.
In 1990, McDonald founded the first two schools in Nashville Tennessee, in both the North and East areas after teaching many years within the Masjid Islamic temples, Nashville Public Schools, and as an instructor for Military and Law Enforcement academies. In 2008 Master McDonald released the second edition Bio of the lost art, (The Art of Hei Lin Wushu) Mental aspects of a Martial Arts Warrior.
In 2006 and 2008 his wife Simo Po Chu Founded two more martial arts schools known as the first Community Outreach programs in the state of Tennessee,founded for kids and families who are less fortunate to experience the beauty of Chinese arts, culture and language classes. Also during 2008 Mcdonald was an Assistant coach for the U.S.A National Team.
In August of 2008 McDonald was inducted into the United States Martial arts Hall of Fame, and had received multiple citations from city Mayors and State Governors, amongst other awards for his martial arts expertise, and teachings to city and federal government within the walls of military and law enforcement local and worldwide.
