Grandmaster Cataldo
A student of the martial arts since 1971, Grandmaster Cataldo holds an 8th degree Black Belt in the combat martial arts, with a 6th Degree Black Belt in Hapkido. He is the Founder & Chief Instructor for the Universal Combat Martial Arts, a system of unarmed & armed self-defense training. A member of the World Combat Arts Federation, www.thewcaf.com and the United States Martial Arts Association, both certify Grandmaster Cataldo as the founder(Soke)of the Universal Combat Martial Arts. Grandmaster Cataldo is a career law enforcement officer, serving since 1981. Mr. Cataldo is a Law Enforcement Training Specialist with international & natioanl certifications as a Police Officer Survival Skills Instructor, Police Firearms Instructor, Police Defensive Tactics Instructor, and as a Criminal Justice Adjunct Professor.
Mr. Cataldo has had several articles published in professional peer journals, regarding self-defense and firearms training. Grandmaster Cataldo has lectured and taught self-defense on a national level at professional law enforcement & martial arts associations, such as, American Society of Law Enforcement Trainers (ASLET), the International Association of Law Enforcement Firearms Instructors (IALEFI) and at the World Combat Martial Arts Federation (WCAF) annual seminar. Grandmaster Cataldo was inducted into the WCAF Hall of Fame as a "Self-Defense Expert" in 2001.

Grandmaster Cataldo holds a Master of Science degree in Human Resource Development (Adult Education & Training) a Bachelor of Science Degree in Police Administration, and a Associate of Arts degree in Law Enforcement.
