Shihan Stephan Breu
Shihan Stephan Breu was born in 1965 in Switzerland and started Martial Arts as a young student with Aikido and later Kyokushin (Kyokushinkai) and Shotokan Karate in the late `70. Due to professional reasons and Military Service he had to stop training for some years later.

After restarting his training in modern Martial Arts he reached black belt with International Ryu Kyu Kai Karate Association, a traditional Shotokan Organization founded by Grandmaster Teji Saito in 1954 and today headed by Robert Handley, Hanshi, and Chon Tu Musul Kwan of Dojunim Nigel W. May as well as some other organizations.

He was than introduced to internal chinese training systems focusing on the development and strengthening of "Qi" (jap. "Ki") by his brother. His brother was President of the Swiss Health Qigong Association at that time and also presented him the newly developed Health Qigong Forms of the Chinese Health Qigong Association. So Shihan took the opportunity to present the Health Qigong forms "Yi Jin Jing" and "Ba Duan Jin" successfully as one of the first Europeans in China during the 2nd International Health Qigong Demonstration and Exchange in 2007 in Beijing. He passed examination for 2nd Duan at this first time event and was elected Vice-President of the Swiss Health Qigong Association later. He combined his experience in Health Qigong with his traditional Shaolin Qigong training to form his own school « Shaolin Yangsheng Fa » aiming for nourishing life of its practitioners.

By founding the International Kikou Federation / Kokusai Kikou Renmei he is today focusing on promotion of japanese "Ki"-training also for health benefits also including healing methods like Usui Shiki Ryoho (traditional Usui Reiki Method).

So he is Menkyo Kaiden of "Seishin-Ryu Kikoukai" which is part of the Kokusai Seishin-Ryu Renmei/International Seishin-Ryu Association founded by Dai-Soke Dave Perez. Dai-Soke Dave Perez has been given authority to head Seishin-Ryu Iaido Renmei in 2007 by Hanshi Hattori Takeyuki, Soke, who founded this organization back in 1945. The training of « Seishin-Ryu Kikou-Jitsu » is based on traditional Shaolin Qigong training methods adapted to modern developments in energy training.
